Windows 10 preview actually had some major issues with NVidia that they later corrected. You may need to turn off GPU acceleration if there are video driver issues with Windows 10.
#SONY VIDEO STUDIO 12 WIN10 HOW TO#
If you insist on staying on Windows 10, then I recommend checking the Sony support site for how to do a clean uninstall/reinstall like mentioned here: I would run Windows 10 on a new system or on a system I was already troubleshooting problems on. The license agreement stated I could no longer connect to my desktop from an RDP client on the iPhone and that I could only connect once every 90 days remotely, otherwise I should own Windows Server. For me there was no compelling reason to upgrade a working system to Windows 10 as most of the new features are to benefit Microsoft rather than myself. Technically it sounds like Vegas is running, but it is likely a driver issue causing the crash. Sony Vegas Pro 11 should work with Windows 10, but the fact that it took a day to get email working, which is a trivial application to support is an indication that the upgrade of the OS had some issues that will keep haunting you. If it were me, I would roll back to Windows 8 then.
